Here's why we do what we do

A new scientific study from 2/10/19, found that high exposures to glyphosate from Monsanto's RoundUp increases the risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma by 41%. And yet, medical experts still tell the public that the causes for skyrocketing rates of cancer tearing our communities apart cannot be determined. Our bodies, our communities, our planet, bears the burden, while corporations lie and the MIC as a whole (despite the efforts of growing numbers of progressive doctors & nurses) cooperates and maintains this deadly illusion!
The Health Justice Commons was founded to address issues such as these and to catalyze intersectional health justice movement building. To transform the MIC and its complicity with many of the growing horrors of proto-fascism, late capitalism, and climate change, we need to first equip our communities with the knowledge to analyze the MIC, its hidden history, its entanglement with oppressive institutions and major big polluting corporations.
